Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7000 Series brings improved color capabilities to Oce portfolio
TRUMBULL, CONN. October 21, 2010 – Océ, an international leader in digital document management, today announced that the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7000 Series of multifunctional products is now available through Océ North America Document Printing Systems. With outstanding speed and efficiency, these models bring high performance color and black & white printing capabilities to large workgroups.
Using Canon's ADVANCE technology platform, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series redefines how users access, share and manage document workflows and communications. Improved functionality and the seamless integration of hardware, software and services help enable users to better manage and customize workflows, resulting in improved user and office productivity.

The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7065, with output speeds of up to 65 letter sized pages-per-minute (ppm) in black & white and color and the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7055, which prints at 55 letter size ppm in black & white or color, rapidly print, copy, scan, fax, store and distribute documents. In addition, a variety of in-line finishing options enable end-users to quickly produce professionally printed documents, resulting in higher levels of worker productivity.

Further enhancing the administrator and end-user capabilities, imageRUNNER ADVANCE Essentials, an integrated software suite, can be combined with imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices to bring their advanced functionality to a user's desktop. imageRUNNER ADVANCE Essentials includes imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop, imageRUNNER ADVANCE Tracker and Workflow Composer and MEAP Connectors. imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop, a client-based dashboard application, enables users to easily import, view, edit and manage documents from their PC. imageRUNNER ADVANCE Tracker is an application that monitors and tracks the usage of imageRUNNER ADVANCE multifunctional printers. Workflow Composer and MEAP Connectors simplifies multi-step workflows into single-button operations.
Stunning image quality is possible on every print with up to 1,200 x 1200 dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution and Canon's fine-grained pQ toner allows users to produce clear, smooth images with a high-quality finish. Canon's exclusive Ultra Fast Rendering II (UFR II) technology offers users the flexibility of network printing and for greater connectivity, the devices can be upgraded with a variety of options, including PCL and Adobe PostScript® 3TM.
For streamlined and simplified operation, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7000 Series includes a large, standard, 8.4? Full-color high-resolution user interface (UI) that features two menu keys for improved navigation, customizable onscreen buttons that can be arranged to meet individual user needs and a tutorial button that provides instructions for common user tasks. Users can also easily upgrade their UI to a 10.5? Upright control panel, for even easier access to the full functionality of their MFP.
Achieving exceptional speed and performance has never been easier with the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7000 Series. Built on the Advanced imageCHIP system architecture, which features dual-processor technology, these models enable businesses to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously. For greater productivity, the Advanced Box feature allows users to store documents in their native file formats and share Advanced Box documents across network-connected models and personal computers. Enhanced connectivity will also speed up workflows by allowing users to not only connect to USB memory devices, but also work with various memory media, including SD and CompactFlash® cards.
Finally, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7000 Series will help users increase their business productivity while decreasing their environmental impact. Using Canon's advanced technology, these models consume just 1 watt of electricity in Sleep mode and Canon's Induction Heating Fusing System reduces power usage by up to 30% over previous models. The models also include certain components made from recycled plastic and emit 30% fewer emissions than previous models.
