MB200 MFP Series provides increased speeds, higher duty cycles and advanced feature sets for home offices and small workgroups

With print speeds 30% faster than previous models, LDAP support on the MB290, and higher yielding consumables, the MB200 MFP Series provides efficiency and cost-effectiveness previously unmatched in this category. The new products are exceptional for improving the output of small workgroups, by combining mono printing and copying, color/mono scanning, scan-to capabilities and analog faxing, while retaining a competitive total cost of ownership.

Highlights of the MB200 MFP Series announcement:

The MB200 MFP Series includes the MB260, MB280 and MB290, which feature all-in-one functionality: print, copy, scan, with fax capability standard on the MB280 and MB290

Developed to meet the needs of small workgroups, the MB200 MFP Series has a wireless option available for printing, scanning or PC-faxing from anywhere in the office, improving productivity and streamlining office processes

The MB280 and MB290 offer full fax functionality, which enables users to quickly and easily send documents offering added convenience and improved efficiency

The MB200 MFP Series offers a wireless LAN option, allowing workgroups to print, scan or PC-fax from anywhere in the office for added convenience and productivity. Users of the MB200 MFP Series can benefit from the ease and efficiency of quickly scanning and transporting documents as digital files through the USB port located on the front of each model in the series.

The MB290 includes scan-to email functionality, scan-to network functionality and LDAP support, making it an integral part in improving workgroup productivity and increasing the efficiency of day-to-day office functions, while remaining affordable.

Email and address book maintenance via a full QWERTY keyboard (MB280 and MB290) for easy entry of file names and e-mail addresses

Long-lasting consumables and low cost per page (CPP) for a cost-effective printing operation and high capacity 5,500-page toner cartridges available on all models

Print speeds of up to 22 ppmi provide a 30% increase in speed over previous OKI Printing Solutions models, enabling users to work faster than before

Available exclusively through OKI Printing Solutions’ authorized solution providers, the MB200 MFP Series will begin shipping August 2009 in North and South America with an estimated street price starting at $249.
