3/12/2008
PrintCycleTM Program Provides Environmental Program Options for Samsung PrintCentiveTM Resellers

NEW YORK -- Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, the world's second largest manufacturer of laser printers, today announced the launch of PrintCycleTM at the spring Press and Reseller Summit in New York City. PrintCycleTM is a printing and toner recycling program aimed at businesses that want to help protect the environment. This latest program is part of Samsung’s newly redesigned PrintCentivesTM campaign, offering increased benefits and convenience to the end-user through their participating Samsung Reseller.

As part of Samsung’s ongoing effort to reduce the consumption of natural resources, PrintCycleTM will offer participating businesses a three-year product refresh, along with a toner purchase and recycle program. This program extends the already environmentally friendly functions of the printers, such as duplexing and toner saving features that are standard on the professional products offered through this program.

PrintCycleTM is offered through Samsung’s PrintCentiveTM Channel Resellers on the following Samsung professional printing systems:

  • CLP – 610ND Color Laser Printer
  • CLP – 660ND Color Laser Printer
  • ML – 3471ND Monochrome Laser Printer
  • ML – 2851ND Monochrome Laser Printer
  • ML – 4551DR Monochrome Laser Printer
  • CLX – 6240FX Color Multifunction Printer

“Samsung is continuously trying to find ways to be environment friendly,” said Jay Shears, director of marketing, digital printing systems Samsung Electronics America, Inc. “By offering easy ways to help the business professional support environmentally safe options, we are providing a service to our customers and a continuing commitment to the environment.”

Samsung was recently ranked the top green company worldwide by Greenpeace and continues the Samsung Take back And Recycle (STAR) program in conjunction with FedEx facilitating toner recycling. For additional information on Samsung’s products and programs, visit www.samsung.com.
