Back to IndexRicoh Americas Corporation Names Michael Loyd PPBG Public Sector Program Manager10/8/2007West Caldwell, NJ, October 8, 2007 – Ricoh Americas Corporation today announced that Michael Loyd has been named Public Sector Program Manager for Ricoh’s Production Printing Business Group (PPBG).
At Ricoh, Loyd will be responsible for creating and operating programs designed for Ricoh PPBG’s public sector customers, which include schools, government agencies, and other publicly operated institutions.
Loyd joins Ricoh from Louisiana State University, where he recently retired and spent more than 17 years holding various positions in the school’s Procurement and Auxiliary Services department, most recently serving as director for the past six years. In managing this department, Loyd was in charge of the Printing Office, Campus Duplicating and Copy Services, Coin-operated Copiers, Bulk and Campus Mail, and the University Copier Management Program. His responsibilities included planning, budgeting, staffing, marketing and effectively operating all of these business units.

Also a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Loyd received a Masters of Public Administration from the school in 1998.
