Recognized for contributions and efforts locally and internationally

West Caldwell, NJ, April 04, 2007 — The American Red Cross of Metropolitan New Jersey recently honored Ricoh Americas Corporation as the 2007 Corporation of the Year. Ricoh was awarded the honor for its local, national and international contributions to the Red Cross.
The award was given to Ricoh at the Red Cross’ annual Touch of Red Gala event, held at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey.

“At Ricoh, we take the responsibility of being a good corporate citizen very seriously,” said Sam Ichioka, chairman & CEO of Ricoh Americas Corporation. “Ricoh is proud to partner with the Metropolitan New Jersey Chapter of the American Red Cross in helping the citizens on Northern New Jersey.”

“If all charitable organizations received the type the support that the American Red Cross receives from Ricoh,” commented Henry Ramer, Gala Chairperson, “the world would be a little better.”

Also attending the Gala event was Ann Moser, senior vice president of Ricoh’s Printer Solutions Division. Ms. Moser serves on the board of directors of the American Red Cross of Metropolitan New Jersey.
