Judge Ruled that Nashua Corp. Infringed on Patent for Toner8/11/2005
NASHUA, N.H. — Nashua Corp. says a federal judge has found the company and two others are infringing on a patent for toner bottles used in copying machines.
The court, in New Jersey, ruled the patent belongs to Ricoh Co.
Nashua Corp.'s president, Andy Albert, said the company is evaluating the ruling's legal and business effects.
The allegations involve selling and distributing toner products that could be used in Ricoh machines. Ricoh wanted the court to order the companies to stop using the bottles and pay damages.
