Job Description:
You will be part of a team of analysts who conduct industry research on copiers, printers, scanners, fax machines and multifunction (MFP) devices and related software and solutions and maintains the leading competitive intelligence services and products for the U.S. and Worldwide Digital Imaging markets. As part of the analyst team, you will collect and analyze manufacturer’s literature and documentation, interview market participants, create specification reports and cultivate client relationships. You may also be called on to work on special projects within the digital imaging industry.

  • Responsibilities include the following:
    • Research and monitor selected markets in the digital imaging industry, with the goal of developing expertise in this market
    • Develop relationships and conduct interviews with industry experts such as major manufacturers, dealers and business consumers for the purpose of gathering content.
    • Establish your personal expertise in the industry and enhance the reputation of Buyers Lab
    • Work closely with editorial and lab test teams, insuring the awareness of new products and features

  • The ideal candidate will possess the following:
    • previous experience in the imaging, copier or printer industries a significant plus, but not required.
    • Extremely insightful, quick learner. Ability to easily grasp understanding of new markets and imaging technologies
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate confidently and clearly
    • Strong time management skills with ability to work in a deadline driven environment
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills with commitment to quality
    • Must demonstrate ability, initiative, and commitment to be a part of excellence.
    • Excellent technical/computer skills
