Account Manager

Buyers Laboratory, a Hackensack, New Jersey based publishing company is looking for an energetic Account Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for selling a web-based competitive intelligence sales tool within a defined territory. This is a sales position using the phone and the web.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Sales of BLI software subscription product to imaging industry dealers and VARs
    • Prospecting and growing accounts within a defined geographic territory
    • Maintain customer information and document all call activity through the utilization of a CRM tool
    • Meet established monthly targets for activity and sales

  • Job Requirements:
    • Education: College Degree preferred but not required.
    • Experience: 2 years, preferably in a sales environment.
    • Will consider training an ambitious recent college grad.
    • Experience with prospecting and/or managing customer accounts preferred.
    • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet and any contact management software program.
    • Must be independent, resourceful and able to work within a close-knit team.
    • Ability to speak Spanish will be a distinct advantage.
