Account Executive – Buyers Alliance Division

Currently BLI is looking for corporate sales consultant candidates to act as independent sales consultants to introduce our services to large corporate accounts in major markets. We currently offer the following services: need assessments, RFQ writing, vendor bidding, bid analysis, contract preparation, vendor contract compliance and long-term equipment management. The Consultant will be assigned both a Targeted Account list, as well as a geographic territory, and be responsible for all sales and contract fulfillment activities within the assignment. The ideal candidate will also have a consultative selling background, management background, with the potential to oversee a stand-alone consulting operation should the opportunity present itself. Project management experience is also a plus.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for incremental business (new clients) within assignment
    • Manage new customer accounts as needed
    • Provide client presentations as required
    • Manage sales pipelines to achieve sales quotas using balanced cold-calling/prospecting ratios
    • Develop successful sales strategy in an efficient and effective manner
    • Build, Manage and maintain sales leads and database to ensure accurate reporting
    • Create/implement marketing and sales campaigns as needed
    • Handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment

  • Requirements – Formal education or equivalent experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in either the office technology or FM services industry
    • Previous project management experience desired
    • Prior management experience a plus.

  • Skills/knowledge/abilities:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communications/interaction skills
    • Knowledge of the office technology and FM industries
    • Willingness to prospect for new business on a regular basis (cold call)
    • Excellent analysis and report preparation skills
    • Must present a professional image and demeanor
    • Demonstrated above average competency with personal computer and business-related software
