VARBusiness 500 Solution Provider Marco Joins M-Files Partner Program
M-Files Easy Document Management Becomes a Strategic Component of Marco’s Portfolio of Voice, Data, Video and Print Solutions

DALLAS, TX
 - M-Files Inc., the developer of M-Files easy document management software and the cloud-based document management service M-Files Cloud Vault, recently announced that Marco, Inc., an industry-leading provider of voice, data, video and print solutions, is the latest organization to join its worldwide Partner Program.

The M-Files Partner Program enables solution providers and resellers to get in on the ground floor as M-Files takes a leadership position in the rapidly growing document and knowledge management market. This program enables channel partners to market and service M-Files in conjunction with their existing product portfolio as a highly complementary offering.

Ranked as one of VARBusiness' 500 largest solution providers, Marco helps organizations manage their information by applying network expertise to voice, data, video, and print solutions. Marco has provided organizations with effective networked solutions since 1985.

“We evaluated several document management solutions and determined that M-Files was the clear choice for expanding our capabilities in workflow, enterprise content management, and integration into the Microsoft Office suite, Dynamics CRM and Salesforce CRM,” said Jack Herold, Regional Sales Director with Marco, Inc. “In addition to M-Files being developed to meet specific needs associated with compliance and records management inherent in regulated industries, it is uniquely configurable, enabling us to serve customers in a variety of vertical markets.”

“As a partner-focused company, the addition of an organization like Marco to our Partner Program reinforces how M-Files is changing the game by making document management easy to use for the customer, as well as easy to sell and service for the partner,” said Scott Erickson, vice president of channel sales with M-Files Inc. “For decades, Marco has helped its customers effectively apply technology that contributes to their success, and by adding M-Files to its portfolio of solutions, they can deliver additional value to organizations in need of a document management and business process management solution to help them achieve compliance with industry standards and regulations.”

With M-Files, Marco customers can maximize information reuse, eliminate file redundancy and avoid conflicts and data loss. In addition, they can improve efficiency and workflow by automating manual business processes to increase efficiencies and reduce paper storage to help move toward a more productive “paper-less” office.

“M-Files is very simple to install and configure, and it’s extremely intuitive and easy to use because of its Windows-based interface that’s familiar to our customers, “said Harold. “Further, because every industry and business has unique needs, M-Files’ flexibility and configurability gives us a major strategic advantage as it enables us to efficiently address the specific requirements of our customers in multiple demanding market segments.  And in contrast to expensive and complicated alternatives,
M-Files delivers a solution that is readily adopted by even non-technical users, and accessible to essentially any business.”

M-Files is a flexible and affordable document management solution that enables businesses to make dramatic gains in efficiency and productivity by improving the way they organize, manage and track documents and processes. A key advantage of M-Files is that it can be easily configured to meet the specific and often unique needs of businesses in a variety of industries, including those with demanding records management and regulatory compliance requirements. M-Files eliminates the need for chaotic Windows folders by organizing documents using simple tags and keywords. With M-Files, users store documents in a centralized vault, the same as they would on any other hard drive on their system or network, but rather than repeatedly searching for the right folder, users simply save documents to the vault and tag. M-Files works like Windows Explorer, so the user interface is familiar to any Windows user and minimizes changes to the way employees work. The M-Files vault is accessed just like My Documents or My Computer, it's just faster and more secure, and finding files is as simple as typing in a tag or performing a full-text search right from the Open or Save dialog box of any Windows application. M-Files is also available as a cloud-based service known as M-Files Cloud Vault that runs on the Windows Azure platform, eliminating the need to purchase and configure a server and providing all the benefits of M-Files for a low monthly fee.
