Preo Software, the market leader in Print Knowledge Management Systems, has announced the Printelligence MPS Solutions Suite, designed to meet the unique needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), channel MPS-providers and IT-Managed Services companies who provide managed print services to their channel or end-user clients.
Using a process called Print Optimization 2.0, Printelligence MPS delivers a comprehensive end-to-end solution to assess and manage end-user print behavior. This includes capturing key end-user, local-printer, print server and area coverage data cost-effectively, tasks that historically have been a challenge for service providers. It enables MPS service providers to develop a highly flexible change-management service for clients who want to gain control of print usage at the end-user level, resulting in significant cost-savings and increased efficiencies, without negatively affecting end-user productivity. Printelligence MPS Solutions Suite provides OEMs and large channel aggregators a seamless way to integrate into their existing managed-print back offices, thus enabling MPS providers to manage installations remotely using real-time data.
Built on the award-winning Printelligence architecture, Preo’s MPS offering
will be available in two configurations.
Printelligence MPS is the complete solution for implementing a comprehensive Print Optimization 2.0 service from assessment to print behavior change management and reporting. This offering also includes the multi-tiered “federation” of data, a critical requirement for MPS providers to remotely manage large numbers of customers often with multiple sites, in multiple channels.
Printelligence MPS-Assessment, designed for the ‘silent’ capture of baseline user-centric print behavior data. It is intended for both pre-sale engagements as well as ongoing data-collection and reporting, and can be seamlessly upgraded to the complete solution. This solution is available in a print server ‘only’ and /or desk-top configuration for mass deployment capability.
