ReadSoft rolls out its proven cloud solution for invoice processing to North American market
ReadSoft, a leading global provider of document process automation solutions, recently announced the immediate availability of ReadSoft Online in the United States and Canada. As a cloud-based service that automatically captures data from financial documents through any computer with an Internet connection, the solution allows all businesses, including those without a solid IT infrastructure and those with highly decentralized accounts payable processes, to significantly improve process efficiency and achieve considerable cost-savings.

ReadSoft Online functions as the entry part of an automated accounts payable process where the invoices are digitized and interpreted. The software automatically extracts the relevant data, verifies the information over the web and then transfers it either to an organization’s workflow and/or financial system, such as SAP or Oracle. Operating as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application built on Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform, ReadSoft Online is secure, quick to implement and offers users a low cost of ownership since it lacks hardware to buy and maintain and software to install and upgrade.

The North American solution launch is in direct response to the product’s successful reception from businesses and partners in the Nordic European countries where ReadSoft Online was first introduced in 2011. The solution was subsequently released in the United Kingdom in January 2012, again with positive response, and today ReadSoft expands its cloud-based offering to include North America. ReadSoft Online is expected to complement ReadSoft’s newly-attained offerings from its acquisition of foxray in February, which supports organizations with high volume document production sites.
