Kofax plc , the leading provider of document driven business process automation solutions, recently announced it has been selected by Microsoft to be a managed independent software vendor (ISV) in a program that includes fewer than one percent of all Microsoft ISVs. In support of this program, Kofax will demonstrate document-driven process automation solutions and tools for Microsoft SharePoint and Windows Azure, Microsoft’s platform for applications and storing data in the cloud, in its booth at the 2011 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in Los Angeles from July 10-14.

Kofax was selected in recognition of its large installed base, its ability to deliver solutions to Microsoft customers throughout the globe, and its strategic value as a complementary technology to key Microsoft platforms. Kofax will work directly with a Microsoft business development manager and benefit from strategic input from Microsoft executives on developing new solutions for Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft Windows Azure, SharePoint and SQL Server.
