Supplies Network, an industry leader in managed print infrastructure services, announced the availability of Preo Printelligence MPS. Supplies Network channel partners will now be able to broaden their MPS services from managing "printers" to managing "printing", with invaluable cost-efficiency, document workflow and employee productivity benefits. Approved Resellers will be able to complete the required training and certification programs enabling them to market the new service offerings.
"As we said in October when we first announced the partnership, the Supplies Network-Preo relationship brings to the market a new MPS model with the potential to change the MPS landscape", said Doug Johnson, Supplies Network SVP-MPS. "The response we have had from knowledgeable players in the MPS business has been overwhelmingly positive. They consistently see the enhanced services offerings as solving problems that were previously considered intractable, whether they be cost-effective remote assessments, management of local devices, understanding of page level area coverage, or effectively managing end-user behavior change."
Doug Johnson also said the partnership enables Supplies Network to deliver a wide range of value-added print and document management services to others in the channel, including resellers, distributors and OEMs."This relationship brings to the market a new MPS model with the potential to be ubiquitous. We have invested in the infrastructure and competencies that make entry into MPS simple for others in the channel. We take the risk, while assuring both consistent performance and financials for MPS providers."
Gary McCone, President and CEO of Preo Software, said, "We are extremely pleased that Supplies Network has realized the relevance user data has in an MPS engagement and its resulting capability to provide true differentiated value."
"Taking an end-user point of view is wise, too, in our estimation, in a space largely driven to date by ways for vendors to create more business for themselves and for their client organizations to save cost. Supplies Network and Preo offer unique capabilities that do indeed raise the MPS bar, and we will be watching carefully as this offering goes to market" said "Jim Lyons, columnist and contributor to The Hard Copy Observer, a publication of Lyra Research.
