Océ’s New Software Solutions Improve Document Workflow & Create Personalized Output
A partnership between Océ North America and Prism Software enables Océ customers to easily create workflows and utilize variable data

TRUMBULL, CT. -- Océ, an international leader in digital document management, and Prism Software Corporation, an industry leader in print and document management software products, announced today the availability of Prism Software’s deskSystem™ and deskForm™ applications. Both products build upon Océ’s commitment to provide smart document workflow solutions to customers and are sourced through Océ’s Partner Program. They join Prism deskRecord™ software as PC-based applications that provide document personalization, workflow customization and document archival and retrieval solutions.

Prism deskSystem is a desktop workflow application that facilitates the sharing and workflow of documents to others within a workplace. It allows users to easily create their own document workflow processes, build workgroup communities and share documents with others within these communities. deskSystem provides for better document communication and distribution methods for all documents throughout an organization.

“Prism deskSystem is fully compatible with Océ’s Embedded Solution Platform (ESP), which facilitates access to personalized scanning processes at the MFP user panel,” said Peter Cooperman, Manager of Product Marketing Solutions at Océ. “Organizations will discover that deskSystem provides an improved document communication and distribution method across their businesses.”

Prism deskForm, a complete and fully integrated personalized communication application, allows for simple and low-cost multichannel messaging: print, email, SMS text, electronic documents and much more. It can also create PURLS (personalized URLs) that are user-specific websites tailored to that customer’s data and information. Additionally, deskForm features a fully integrated postal certification module that allows users to obtain mailing discounts from the U.S. Postal Service.
