Kofax To Provide Technology Firm With Invoice Processing Solution

IRVINE, CA.--Kofax, the leading provider of document driven business process automation solutions, announced it will provide an enterprise capture solution to a leading global technology firm. The value of the contract exceeds $200,000.

The customer, a manufacturer of safety, security and energy products and services, will implement Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation Modules to scan and capture four million invoices and related accounts payable documents it receives annually. In addition, the customer will implement Kofax Communication Server to deploy a Fax-over-IP (FoIP) system as part of its accounts payable infrastructure for routing documents to a repository for secure access by employees. The Kofax software will enable the customer to accelerate its invoice payment process, increase productivity and reduce costs associated with manual tasks.

Kofax Capture accelerates business processes by scanning documents and forms, transforming them into accurate, retrievable digital information, and delivering the images and associated data into business process applications, databases and content management systems. Kofax Capture is flexible and scalable, enabling customers to define where and how documents are captured, whether in a home office, remote branch or data center.

Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) automates document classification, information extraction and validation for large and medium enterprises facing manual, error prone or expensive process for managing large volumes of paper and electronic documents. Using intelligent recognition technology, KTM increases speed, reduces costs and increases visibility to accurately extract the most information from all types of documents and deliver rapid ROI.

Kofax Communication Server (KCS) enables the automated exchange of business critical information, linking devices such as MFPs, fax and phone systems, media types including e-mail, FoIP, SMS, MMS, voicemail and telex, and applications such as ERP, CRM systems and Kofax Capture.
