Unbounded Solutions announces the launch of a new product to help companies who use both Documentum and SharePoint 2010 for document management to integrate their data into one easy-to-use platform. This product allows users to continue using the robust content management structure of Documentum to store their content while accessing the user-friendly collaborative workspace of SharePoint.
The Documentum to SharePoint 2010 Integration tool allows users to look at all of their Documentum content through the convenient, easy-to-use SharePoint platform, eliminating the need to search through disparate silos of information and reducing the amount of time and cost of training users on multiple enterprise content management applications. Users will also be able to use SharePoint features like Check In/Check Out and Approve without losing the highly scalable organization that Documentum provides.
"For a lot of companies, it is really important to have both of these applications," says Vik Thadani, CEO of Unbounded Solutions. "This product allows users to use SharePoint to access and work with their content without having to learn another product, and the company can organize all of this content on Documentum."
The release of Documentum to SharePoint Integration is being released alongside a number of other solutions in the Unbounded Solutions suite of SharePoint products, shortly following Unbounded's 10th anniversary.
