First To File Enhances Electronic File Room Patent Document Management Service

First To File (FTF), the world's leading patent document management company, announced that it has enhanced its Electronic File Room (EFR) service with improvements to the service's Web-based user interface. EFR is a patent document management service for law firms and in-house legal departments that reduces cost, increases collaboration, productivity, and patent quality, and reduces risk in patent prosecution. It features a unique Tri-Fold® user interface that mirrors the three-part paper folders familiar to patent professionals. More information about FTF and EFR is available at www.firsttofile.com.

The enhancements to the latest version of EFR address the most popular requests from FTF customers, increasing the application's speed and providing faster access with fewer clicks to more functionality.

Particular upgrades to the user interface include:
Larger, auto-sizing windows to more effectively use today's larger monitors
Multiple cases may be open at one time in multiple on-screen tabs
      Interactive grids and dashboard
Clean, modern design optimized for continuous use throughout the day

"FTF's EFR is the only available document management solution purpose-built to support the unique requirements of patent prosecution," said James Bergeron, chief executive officer, First To File. "The Tri-Fold view of EFR reflects that, providing an interface that is comfortable and familiar to patent professionals. The enhancements introduced take the user experience to the next level, increasing our lead in this area."
