1. Why do I have to provide my email address and contact details?

As a service to business consumers, we provide our How-to guide, Needs Assessment Wizard and some additional content to all visitors to the Buyers Lab Advisor website. In order to view additional resources we provide like product specifications, side-by-side analyses and our must-see LabNotes, we just ask that you provide your email address and other contact details and permit us to share your interest in acquiring new imaging devices with our featured suppliers.

2. Will I have to provide any other information besides my contact details?

Yes. We’ll ask you a handful of easy to answer questions about your imaging equipment needs (e.g. volume, color or monochrome) so that our featured suppliers can quickly provide you with quotes that meet your needs. It shouldn’t take more than a minute or two to complete our questionnaire.

3. What’s in it for me?

By taking advantage of our request for quote service, you will be able to access valuable Buyers Lab product research that will quickly help you become knowledgeable about complicated imaging devices. Quote Service users get access to LabNote reports, detailed strengths and weaknesses of hundreds of products independently tested in our lab. You also gain access to Competitive Side-by-Sides, First Looks and other BLI content, while getting dealers to provide you with cost effective solutions. You’ll save valuable time doing your research and by having vendors contact you directly – and they’ll be competing for your business, helping you find the most appropriate products for your needs and save money at the same time.

4. How many vendors will contact me?

Typically, you can expect to hear from two suppliers, however we may provide your contact information to 4 or 5 suppliers that would want to offer you competitive solutions.

5. When and how will they contact me?

You should hear from the suppliers within 24 to 48 hours from when you provide your contact details. Some suppliers will call you directly while others may reach out to you via email first.

6. How often will they contact me?

That’s up to each supplier that receives your contact details, but we can assure you that each supplier that we partner with understands that your time is valuable and they will only contact you as appropriate to meet your level of interest in learning more about their products.

7. Is there any cost for using the quote service?

No, the quote service is completely free of charge.

8. What is Buyers Lab Advisor’s relationship with the vendors?

Buyers Laboratory Inc. is a 100% independent testing laboratory. Our reports will detail our assessments of products, but we do not endorse any supplier or specifically recommend one product over another. We pass along your contact details as a service to you and as a courtesy to our featured suppliers in return for the sponsorship support they provide to make the Buyers Lab Advisor website available as a valuable tool for buyers at no cost.

10. Is there any way I can get access to BLI’s reports without using the quote service?

Yes, Buyers Laboratory does offer a comprehensive product intelligence service, bliQ, which is available as a paid subscription. bliQ is normally available for only annual subscriptions, but we have been making it available to business consumers and Buyers Lab Advisor visitors at a special introductory 3 month rate of $299.
